Course contents :

| Semiconductor physics fundamentals. Electronic devices : pn junction, Schottky diode, bipolar transistor, field-effect transistor. Circuit analysis, transfer function, frequency response. Operational amplifier et basic circuits. Introduction to digital electronics : numbers, logic gates, boolean algebra, combinatory logic circuit design, sequential circuits. Converters. Introduction to instrumentation. |

| To introduce the basics of device physics and to present applications in analog electronics and digital electronics. |

| Drill sessions (problem solving) and lab sessions (mounting and analysis of analog and digital circuits). |
