B. Tools and concepts of therapeutic drug monitoring
1. The goals of TDM
2. Which drugs can be monitored?
3. Which patients is it necessary to monitor ?
4.Interpretation of the results and drug doses adaptation
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The objective of this course is the acquisition of the basic notions of pharmacokinetics necessary for the good use of drugs. The purpose to be reached is the prescription of every medicine to the posology which insures the best efficiency with minimum unwanted effects. The course is illustrated by several examples aiming at a good understanding of the pharmacokinetic section of the scientific leaflet of specialities as well as by the realization of practical exercises.
