Course contents :

| « Professional didactics » and « practical support » are narrowly linked courses. They result in the candidate setting up within his HE a personal project born from a critical analysis of his own practical experience. This work is guided by meetings and presentations and will be described in a final written report |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| - Enabling the candidate to take a critical look at his professional practice.
- Enabling the candidate to set up in his HE and thanks to this critical analysis an original project related to one of the professional competences described in the CAPAES decree (2002-07-17). |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :
 |
| The candidate must have been an effective lecturer in a H.E. or in a "higher level social advancement institute" for at least 3 consecutive months. This requirement should ensure the candidate that he will be allowed to really carry out his project within his HE. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
 |
| Crucial concepts of professional didactics in Education Sciences, Psychology end Speach Therapy will be presented throughout different meetings which will allow the candidates to exchange views about specific difficulties they are faced with and get assistance setting up their personal projects.
The reflexion to be carried out will feed on :
- discussions between CAPAES candidates attending "professional didactics",
- discussions together with the PERF service representatives during these meetings,
- discussions within the H.E. with the tutors of the candidates,
- written feedback information commenting on the candidates'writings. |

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

| Face to face seminars (schedules will be given during the first course) and remote assistance. |

Assessment methods and criteria :
 |
| The assessment will be based on a written report and presenting it,considering :
- the efforts that were made by the candidate to analyse his own practice, the relevance of the project that was submitted and the way personal projects could grow throughout the year,
- how this project ould be refocused thanks to the feedback information that was regularly given,
- the quality of oral presentations and discussions with other candidates,
- the quality of the final report (due on 13th June at the latest) which will include the reasons why the particular competence was chosen, a description of the project and its theoretical bases, an analysis of the difficulties encountered to set it up, a presentation of the steps carried out and the tools tested in the candidates's teaching practices, an analysis of their impact and the possible readjusting prospects as well a bibliography connected with the projects that were carried out. |
