| Attacks - adaptation - cell death - inflammation, autoimmunity - senescence - thrombosis and embolisms - fluid distribution - metabolism - hypersensitivity - healing - tumours - oncogenesis - medical genetics. |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| This course seeks to describe the main processes at work when an organism is subjected to attacks, taking into account the genetic interactions. It includes general notions of pathological anatomy, pathological biochemistry, physio-pathology, immuno-pathology and genetics. |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| Human biochemistry, human histology, human physiology, general immunology. |

| The course will be given in the second four-month period. Using slides, overheads and Powerpoint projections. |
