Course contents :  
This is a stage in the laboratory of  mycology, whose main aim is to become familiar with the identification of edible and toxic fungi. It includes collecting in nature around the Botanical Institute in Sart Tilman, as well as in various regions with an interesting mycological flora (Ardenne, Condroz, Famenne, Calestienne). In the laboratory, the fungi are described and drawn, in their macro- and microscopic aspects. Learning the use of the literature for determination is an essential feature of the stage.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
This course is aimed at pharmacists willing to be able to answer the wish of customers in search of advise on the edibility or toxicity of fungi.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Notions of biology and use of the microscope as they should have been acquired during the previous years of study.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
The stage is made up of practical works, either in the field or the laboratory.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Days or half days will be chosen taking into account other stages and courses but mainly during the autumn.
