Course contents :  
In this complementary master in hospital chemistry, are reminded the principles of treatment of acute or chronic renal insufficiency.

Sterile and biocompatible material must be used. Blood from the patient is on contact with an artificial semi-permeable membrane.

Different exchanges are made with a sterile fluid during continuous hemofiltration or with a dialysis fluid during hemodialysis through this membrane.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To learn the reasons why such treatments for the failing kidneys are initiated, the modifications of the internal body composition induced by renal insufficiency, and the adaptations of drug dosage prescription in such situations.

To understand how potential pyretic, chemical, physical, immunological and inflammatory reactions can develop when such treatments for supplying renal failure.

To be a pharmacist attending this formation for working in a hospital.
