Course contents :  
Beginning with a number of games about the materiality of language, the course will gradually move to more complex writing exercises linked to the final editing of a novella.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The target isn't to learning how to write, and neither to become a writer but rather to familiarise students with creative writing.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Mastery of written french and a taste for literature and writing.

The main exercise consists in building a short story from a choice of the beginning of novels.

Delivery face-to-face.

Written and oral examination in the June session.

The course takes place on Wednesday mornings from 8am to 10am to 4/12 for the Romanists and Thursday from 9 to 11am for Germanists and Modernists.
