Course contents :  
This lecture contains two parts :

(1) the first is dedicated to the fondations of lexicology (part of linguistics which study the "words");

(2) the second is dedicated to the bases of lexicography (pratical activity which describe "words" in dictionnaries).
Learning outcomes of the course :  
At the end, student will show he is able to manipulate the basis notions of lexicology and he is able to define it. He will also show he can understand and analyse the structure of a dictionnary.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Anterior linguistics classes provide useful notions for this one.

None. But readings will be proposed as well as questions of reflexion.
