Theorical and practical introduction to Spanish language.

Learning outcomes of the course :  
The student should be capable at the end of the course, to produce and understand oral and written messages in Spanish that correspond with an B1 level (CECRL). He/she should also dispose of the necessary metalanguage to explain the rules of the Spanish grammar and be able to reason grammatically when he realises exercices and practises the language.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
None.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Organisation: 1 hour grammar classes ex cathedra and 2 hours practical exercises (TP) in small groups. These 3 hours are compulsary. One complementary hour is facultative but recommended for the students who have never studied Spanish before.

Ex cathedra: theory of the Spanish grammar. TPs: dictations, translations, practical exercises, written an oral.

Assessment methods and criteria :  
For "Bloc 1" students, the mark of the midterm exam in January will count for 25% of the June final mark if > or = 10/20 (the mark will have no effect on the final grade if it doesn't reach 10/20). Please note that the final exam for this course is cumulative.
