Course contents :

| The first part is dedicated to the transport function. The supply chain concept is defined. We study the structure of the distribution network and explain how to solve the minimum cost transportation problem. The second part is dedicated to the production function. We study the stock management. We present the just-in-time methods and the Material Requirement Planification. |

| The objective of the course is to give an introduction to the logistics for the enterprise. We study the transport function, the stock management and the production planification. |

| Base course in Mathematics, Base course of probability/statistics. |

| Application's exercices are proposed to the students at the end of each chapter. Corrections are presented during the course. |

| Presentation of concepts and solving methods are followed by practical cases studies. |

| The course takes place every thursday from 17:30 until 20:30, Room Portalis, Building B31, first semester from Septembre 18th until November 13h. The evaluation takes place November 20th, room Portalis. Please buy the notes at the Presses de l'ULG before first course. |
