| At the end of the course, the student is able to read a classical sanskrit text, helped by a grammar and a dictionary. |

| Sankrit I must have been followed. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| Students receive the text in devanagari alphabet and transliterate it. The text is read with the teacher during the lessons. |
