- CEFRL levels of the course: C1-C2 (level 5)
Study of the vocabulary and the main chapters of Dutch grammar through (drill) exercises, reading, writing, speaking and listening activities, based on authentic texts and documents related to law. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| This is the one before last year of a 6-year programme. The final objective is the written and oral practice of Dutch.
The fifth part focuses on the knowledge of Dutch grammar and vocabulary related to law. |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| The student should have attended the first four years of the program or have a very good level in Dutch to be able to follow this class. |

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

| 2 hours every two weeks all year long. Students will be asked to do some homework and attend the class actively.
It is possible to follow @lter at the same time. |

Assessment methods and criteria :

| Six tests of legal vocabulary during the year. Those tests are marked and are part of the written exam. The student can be exempted if he obtains at least 10/20 for each test. If he doesn't, he will have to retake them at the end of the year.
Written and oral examination at the end of the year.
The written exam will consist in different grammar and vocabulary exercises, an essay, and a reading and listening comprehension based on the coursebook.
For the oral exam, the student will have to present (with power-point slides, during 10 minutes) a topic based on 15 pages from the Dutch press (from 01/07/2014). Those texts should be given to the teacher before the end of March 2015. |
