Course contents :  
Quantitative cytometry: individual analysis of a large number of cells by two complementary approaches including the detection of rare cells of a great biological interest (cancer cells). 1) image cytometry: presentation on all optical microscopes, confocal, phase, fluorescence, interference, electronic, and morphomathematical analysis of the images acquired by these instruments: image segmentation, binary morphometry, the watershed transformation , Fourier analysis, cell identification, counting and measurements of morphometric parameters. 2) Flow cytometry: analysis multifluorescence and high-speed sorting of thousands of cells per second. Multicolor immunofluorescence, cell cycle, calcium flux.
