Course contents :

| - The mathematical concept of a system, classification of agricultural systems
- Linear models in the time domain, first-order and second-order models
- Examples of non linear systems
- State-variable models (example: crop models)
- Numerical resolution of differential equations |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| After completing the course the student is expected to
- model agro-environmental systems by using differential equations
- find the numerical solution of a differential equation
- use Matlab to solve the problems |
