| Introduction to the vocabulary and concepts used in computer science.
Use of spreadsheet software to solve problems.
Use of Database Management Systems (DBMS) to manage Information with SQL language. |

| After completing the course the student is expected to
- understand the vocabulary and concepts used in computer science,
- evaluate IT Equipement (hardware and software) to select these that meets user needs,
- use spreadsheet software to solve problems,
- use DBMS to manage Information with SQL language. |
