Course contents :  
Study of the main tissular groups: - Epithelial tissues - Connective tissues - Muscle tissues - Nerve tissues - introduction to the study of the lymph organs - notions about alternative methods of experimentation that don't use animals
Learning outcomes of the course :  
This course aims to introduce basic knowledges in histology and to establish relations between tissular structure and its functions.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
General biology, basic chemistry and physics.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
5 practical cursus on line with 5 presentiel session. Prof. P. Drion will give a lesson about alternatives experimation methods that don't use animals

Written examination on the theory and on views of histological slides .

Organizational remarks :  
Validation of on line practical course is mandatory to participate to presentiel course. Listing will be realized the day before the presentiel seance on 17H.
If realized later, the student must provided the proof of validation to access the return course.
Realisation of on-line work is mandatory. No absence will be accepted. Presence to return course is also mandatory. Th student having 1 or more unjustified absences will not be allowed to present the practical evaluation.
 
 
Medical certificates and the document "justificatif d'absence) must be rendered within 72H to Mme Defaweux, 1st assistant: Department of Histology, B36, +4 (Tour of Pharmacy).
