Course contents :  
Environmental Geology related to mining activity, post-mining impacts as well as exploration and exploitation of renewable energy resources (hydro-electricity and geothermics).
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Sensitization of geologists for durable management of the environment of mines and hydro-electric and geothermic power plants.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Basics in hydrogeology and geophysics-geotechnics, tectonics
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
8 lectures (3h) in the classroom, 1 project, 2 field visits (Liege, Coo, Rurgebiet)
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Lecture given by the professor in the classroom and in the field.
Recommended or required readings :  
Environmental Geology,papers, + ppt lectures.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Evaluation of the oral presentaiton of the project and oral exam.
