Course contents :

| This course involves the preparation of the Master's Thesis. The topics hereafter will be dealt with :
- how to write and to organize the text
- how to prepare the oral presentation
- how to organize references for citing in papers (desktop writing tools, e.g. EndNote Web, Mendeley)
- how to do bibliographic research and to set up search alert related to the Master's Thesis. |

| Previous selection of the subject of the Master's Thesis. |

| The first part of the course is held within a computer classroom. During the second part of the course, students are required to work autonomously. They are invited to use all available documentation resources. |

Assessment methods and criteria :

| The evaluation of the course is based on the following :
- the work carried out during the year,
- a written report (document research) summarizing the present state of knowledge about some topics related to the objectives of the Master's Thesis and the bibliography researched for this work,
- the oral presentation of the advancement of the Master's Thesis. |
