Design and implementation of a GIS in an organization

GIS design in UML

Integrated exercise: from the design of the data model to the creation of a spatial enabled database

Exercises dealing with spatial decision support in vector and raster modes
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
- Sessions of 3 or 4 hours,
- 2d semester, intensive sessions (3 / week) - Institute of Physics B5, 4/18 - Some lectures are given by scientifical staff

Assessment methods and criteria :  
- Practical works: exercise on computer - Theory: oral examination
Success is conditionned by the success in both exams (theory and practical). In case of failure, partial exemption (theory or practical) coud be given.
