Course contents :  
The course focuses  (5 lessons of 2 hours) on specificities and diversity of inter and subtropical climates. It especially insists on atmospheric circulation, characteristics of one or several rainy seasons and their movement during the year, obstinacy of dry seasons, location of the cyclonic areas and characteristics and seasons of the tropical cyclones. The location of desert zones and their consequences on the extent of the œcumène are just like analysed than the deficiency marked in instrumental data for most part of the intertropical zone counting nevertheless for 40 % of the surface of the planet. 
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Awareness of the very big importance of the variability of the constraints and/or the climatic potentialities associated with the development and in the conditions of life in sub and intertropica lregions. 
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Good general formation and interest for the subject.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Teaching in interaction with the students from multiple documents shown on the board.

face-to-face with personal computers to be connected on the Internet.
