1. Linear programming 2. Classical problems solved by linear programming 3. Non-linear programming 4. Multicriteria optimization
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To learn some elements of operations research.
After completing the course the student is expected to - formulate a linear, non-linear or multicriteria programming problem, - solve a problem with a software, - correctly interpret the results given by a software.

Basic skills in computer science and mathematics, for example :  INFO2037-1- Introduction to computer science and MATH0068-1 - General mathematics (first part)
