Course contents :  
The integrated project biomedical engineering consists of 2 parts
* contact program with biomedical industry in Belgium (organised together with the other masters in biomedical engineering of the fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles: http://biomed-days.ulb.ac.be/)
* participation in 'Ingénieur de Projet' for the actual project part.  Please check the website http://www.ingenieurprojets.be/ for more information about content and organisation.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
  • solution of complex and incompletely stated problems, close to the reality in the field
  • decompartmentalization and intégration of knowledge
  • Design and realisation of an object or the pre-study of a larger wokr
  • skills in groupwork and contacts with other partners (often with different backgrounds)

In fonction of the identified needs, the realisation of the project is completed with
* seminars by professors and academic researchers
* hands-on tutorials
* seminars by industrial partners, organised together with the other masters in biomedical engineering of the fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles: http://biomed-days.ulb.ac.be/
