Part 1 : Tree production systems - Nurseries - afforestation - Christmas tree cultivation - Poplar production - Agroforestry - Short Rotation Coppice
Part 2 : Forest biodiversity
- Different forms of biodiversity in forests - Conservation status in forests - Standards and rules in forests
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The students will be able to manage different types of tree production in forest or agricultural landscale.
They will be able to understand the complexity of al biodiversity management in forest and identify key standards and rules to follow.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Good knowledge in sylviculture
Hard skills in landscape interpretation (geomorphopedology, site analysis,...)
