Course contents :  
The course is organized in two parts: 1. three seminars (3 x 2 hours) devoted to the presentation of some specific methods implemented in environmental impact assessment (EIA) related to : - biodiversity issues - soil management and conservation - spatial planning and visual impact
2. A group assignement in which the student will face an EIA concerning a project in one of the three issues mentioned in the first part
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Handle the techniques and methods to carry out an EIA for projects involving specific issues (soil conservation, biodiversity, spatial planning and visual impacts)
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
basic knowledge in ecology, soil science and geomatics
The course "ENVT2052 - Incidences environnementales : concepts et méthodologie" is a mandatory prerequisite
