Course contents :  
The following themes are developed:
- Origin and evolution of agricultural and agro-pastoral systems of temperate and tropical regions
- Principles of species domestication
- Characteristics of the systems of the past civilizations
- Present-day agricultural systems
- Limiting factors and solutions (desertification, pests, weeds, fertility conservation, energetic costs, etc.)
- Economical and financial constraints (primitive economic systems and market economy)

To understand the constraints and stakes of agriculture in the point of view of ecology
