Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| Agrometeorology's objective is to use and exploit in an optimized way weather and climate for agricultural production, source of food and incomes for the majority of world population. This course give the scientific basis for a good understanding of operational applications in agrometeorology. These applications will be teached in a second course called "Applied agrometeorology".
Agrometeorology being interdisciplinary by definition, students will be initiated to some processes in atmospheric physics, soils physiscs and agronomy that are essential for interventions in agrometeorology. |
