Course contents :  
Discovery, in depth analysis and communication around for "special questions". Those questions are particularly significant from an environmental and sustainable development's point of view : animal wellbeing, nature's management, food sovereignty, biofuel, fair trade and equitable consumption, etc.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
A double objective is assigned with this course:
1. To increase students'awareness of "special questions", i.e. whose relevance is particularly acute in a sustainable development approach (for example: the space management according to conservation, to animal wellbeing, to food sovereignty,etc.).
2. To get students to communicate orally to a public of "non-scientists" on one of thoses issues.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
None
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
The student chooses a question which will be at the heart of its oral presentation: search for informations, talk's elaboration and preparation for a communication, etc).
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
1. One week presentation of five questions (one day per issue). 2. Later on: one collective working day for the preparation of the talks. 3. Individual student's work in order to finalize his talk. 4. End of the year: a one day presentation in front of a board of a panel of laymen.

Assessment methods and criteria :  
The evaluation of the board will be balanced by those of the supervisors.
