Course contents :  
This course aims to provide Sport Sciences students with theoretical bases that will be needed to work with a group of participants in any context of sports and physical activities. It will deal to analyse the principles focussing on the motivation of the group, the individualization of the activity, the groups control, and the post-interactive decisions.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The students will be able to identify the principles and to explain how to implement them on the field.
This course has to allow them to perceive clearly what one expects from physical educators. Il contributes directly to the pedagogical preparation of the future graduates and will help them to be ready for their first field practices.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Previous experiences of the students will help them (sports clubs, youth movements,...). Direct links will be established with the pedagogical activities organized in another course ("Practice in physical education and sport I").
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Ex-cathedra courses, interactive activities, analysis of videos.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The course will be organized during second semesters according a planning determined that will be presented to the students. The theoretical course lays on lectures and exercices in class.
Recommended or required readings :  
All documents used by the professor will be available for the students on myULg. These will be also invited to use the SIGAPS library.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Students will be assessed on the basis of their involvement in all the tasks. A written examination will be organized in June. It will consist in open questions.
