Course contents :

| This course is teached in Sofia (Bulgaria) for students selected by IFAG (Institut de la Francophonie pour l'Administration et la Gestion).
It treats the main topics of handbooks in Public Finance: aims of the public sector; market failure (public goods, externalities, congestion costs, ...); public choice;public finance and macroeconomic policy; fiscal federalism: decentralization and internationalization of public finance; public firm; cost-benefit analysis; tax analysis (equity and efficiency: optimal sales tax and optimal income tax; tax expenditures; taxes and inflation; tax policy and environment; tax policy and family; selective sales tax; ...). |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| The student must be able to:
- understand, explain and analyse in a critical perspective the policies of public finance;
- have a share in the discussions on the internationalization of budgetary and tax policies. |
