Course contents :
 |
| The aim of the course is to provide 1) a historical landscape of the book production in Belgium from Plantin to Casterman ; 2) a close analysis of contemporary belgian book industry. |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| 1) Developing an in-depth knowledge of the international publishing industry as well as within the Belgium and French editorial fields;
2) Considering the publishing industry from the two points of view of economical constraints and sociology of practices;
3) Acquiring a practical knowledge of a moving professional field. |
