Course contents :  
  The course is a deepening of the victimological approach through ex cathedra courses covering the following subjects : Part I: Victims and victimization process.
1)       Development of the relation to the world:
-          A socio-cognitive perspective
-          The victim-perpetrator relationship
-          Risk and Protective Factors

Part II:  Victims and Psychological Trauma
2)       Psychological Trauma:
-          History and theories of trauma
-          Actuals models of post-traumatic stress disorder
-          Types of traumatic events
-          Types post-traumatic consequences: definition, prevalence, symptoms.
-           Post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic evolution and associated disorder, dissociative reaction, personality change.
-          Childhood trauma
-          Treatments of trauma
Part III: Integrated approach of specific types of victimization
3)       Specific types of victimization:
-          Types of repeated interpersonal victimization
-          Violence in childhood (mistreatment, sexual abuse)
-          Adult violence (Domestic and sexual violence)
Type I trauma (single event), with or without sexual violence
Learning outcomes of the course :  
 


Acquire complements of knowledge in victimology.
- Master current knowledge on differents types of victimization.
