Course contents :  
The course is divided in 3 parts :
The first part starts with a description of the concept of juvenile delinquency, the evolution and the mesure of this phenomenon, especially in Belgium. We then describe criminological theories related to juvenile delinquency, the factors associated and their methodological issues. Finally, we present specific situations related to juvenile delinquency.
The second part discuss interventions in juvenile delinquency, from measures to succesful intervention programs and the need for evaluation. 
The last part concerns the worskshops and the development of an expertise about some criminological theories and their application in specific situations related to juvenile delinquency.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
- Acquire a good knowledge of theoritical concepts  related to juvenile delinquency (general and specific issues) 
- Apply these knowledges and develop a critical thinking
- Enhance mutual learning and collaboration in workshops
