Course contents :

| This workshop is first an opportunity to questionthe use of images, sounds and film cutting. Each student must direct a video film on the topic of 'the portrait'. |

Learning outcomes of the course :
|
| Through this workshop students will improve their knowledge of the AV language through their own production of a video portrait. The concrete learning of the various parametres to be taken into account when you move from theory to practice will be an opportunity to raise the various aesthetic and ethical issues that pertain to the direction of a film, and of a portrait in particular. |

| Basic knowledge of video techniques (takes, cutting, etc.) |

| The main point of the workshop is the video each student produces. |

| No syllabus but clear instructions to be found in a document students receive at the beginning of the year. |

Assessment methods and criteria :

| Evaluation is mainly based on the work students produce at the end of the year, taking the creative process into account. Indeed the main aim of the workshop is to foster exchange rather than individual projects. |
