| 1. Revision of Background knowledge and introduction to solid-state NMR
2. Application to polymers (Philippe Lecomte), to inorganic materials (Bénédicte Vertryen)and to biological materials (Christian Damblon)
3. Lab visit and model experiments |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| At the end of the course, students will be able to:
· identify the interactions involved in solid state NMR;
· understand and explain the main techniques of solid state NMR (MAS, CP, decoupling) and some common pulse sequences
· analyse experimental procedures and results from the literature. |
