Course contents :

| This course studies macromolecules properties in solution (determination of molecular weight, ...) and at the solid state in function of temperature (Tg, rheology,...). |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| Understanding of the behavior of macromolecules in solution and at the solid state in function of the temperature and its implication in the characterisation and use of these materials. |

| Basic course introduction to macromolecular chemistry (3rd BAC Prof. C. Jérôme) |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| Pratical examples of the measurement of macromolecules molecular weight (GPC, NMR, DLS), thermal behavior (DSC), thermo-mechanical properties (DMA and rheology) in the research lab in the frame of a small research project. |
