Course contents :  
The course discuss on natural biological machines and motors: definition, main types, operating principle. It describes a few examples of synthetic molecular machines, their operating principle and their performances. Finally a few examples of devices made from these machines and able to perform work and specific tasks are described
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Learning independence. Search for information. Acquisition of questioning mind. Time management. Development of analytical ability (essential information vs details). Preparation of an oral presentation. Development of deductive skills.

Good knowledge in physical chemistry

A few introductory lectures about basic concepts.Problem-based learning (with scientific papers)
