Course contents :  
The course presents various techniques used in Structural Biological Chemistry . The various techniques discussed in the course are: Solution NMR, X-ray crystallography, Infrared Spectroscopy, Cryo-electro-microscopy., NMR imaging, molecular modeling. Theoretical aspects are explained on basis of practical results found in the literature
Learning outcomes of the course :  
At the end of the course students will be able to understand the use of technology in structural biology and to identify methods to answer specific questions related to structural biology.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Basic biology and biochemistry. Knowledge of the structure and properties of biological macromolecules. Structural analysis. The basics of spectroscopy.
