Course contents :

| The course is splitted into three parts:
1° Atom, electronic structure and molecular bondings.
2° The chemistry in water solution (acido-basic reactions, redox reactions) and their appliances in real life and in the industry .
3° Introduction to Carbon chemistry including reactivity of compounds with some real examples. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| The general objective of the course is to get the students familiar with the scientific background in life sciences chemistry, allowing a correct understanding of general documents including scientific reports, general scientific press papers, business plans... |

| Basic notions of general chemistry and physics. |
