Course contents :  
The first part of this course aims at introducing the basis of nanotechnology. The second part is devoted to the preparation of different nanomaterials and to their applications. Metallic nanoparticles and their supramolecular organisation, nanoparticles for drug delivery, nanocomposites (clay/polymer) and carbon nanotubes are discussed in this part.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
This course aims at introducing the nanotechnology and at discussing its impact on the development of improved materials. This cours might be totally in English.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Course entitled "Macromolecular Chemistry" (Prof. R. Jérôme) in 2nd licence in chemistry sciences.

8 courses of 2h each on the first quadrimester
Recommended or required readings :  
The copy of the slides will be available to the students. These copies will be in french and/or english. The lecture will be in English or in French.
