Duration :  30h Th
Number of credits :
Master in Biology of organism and ecology, in-depth approach, 2nd year3
Lecturer :  Jean-Christophe Plumier
Language(s) of instruction :
French language
Organisation and examination :
Teaching in the second semester
Course contents :
This course offers to study specific topics in animal physiology according to students' needs. Studied topics depend upon students' interests for a precise problem possibly related to their honour thesis.
Learning outcomes of the course :
The main goal consists in giving answers to specific problems of animal physiology (including ecophysiology). In this course, all levels of physiology (molecular, cellular and organ aspects) will be examined to draw a global scheme of physiological mechanisms in play.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :
Cell Physiology, animal physiology, histology, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistrry
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :
Each student will choose a precise topics in animal physiology under the teacher's advise. The student will develop the various (molecular, cellular, ...) aspects related to the topics and propose physiological mecanisms underlying the studied case. If possible, each student will present his/her comprehensive work for discussion.
