Course contents :  
The lectures will illustrate signalling in photosynthetic organisms.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The aim of the course is to illustrate the high complexity and the uniqueness of signalling processes in plants. The functional aspects of the cellular signalling are highlighted.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Knowledge in cellular and molecular biology and in methods of molecular biology and genetic engineering.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Practicals are integrated to the course 'Stages ou travaux pratiques intégrés (y compris séminaires)'.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Lectures of 2h given during the first quadrimestre (Mondays 10:30-12:30).
Recommended or required readings :  
Illustrations and copy of powerpoint slides. Recommended textbook: Molecular Cell Biology 7th Ed, H. Lodish et al. 2013, W.H. Freeman and Company.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Examination details will be defined at the beginning of the academic year.
