| The programme includes:
-Visits to workshops or factories in the fields of furnishings and carpentry, ironwork, finishing techniques, sophisticated concrete, design ...
-Guided tours of sites and buildings, depending on the opportunities presented.
-Visits to exhibitions in the field of design or the "micro" dimension of architecture, depending on the opportunities presented.
-Discussion and information seminars around technical themes. |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| To develop students' curiosity and interest in the means of executing architecture, particularly on a small scale which is easily measurable and visible.
To develop a sense of observation, reflection, research and architectural resolution, logic and technical sensitivity.
To develop awareness of all parameters and formulating and materializing an idea, taking a coherent approach to the process of technical design and the means of executing it.
To give examples of the way to approach the cost of a small construction. |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| Course in construction from the Baccalaureat.
A basic knowledge of furniture design and contemporary materials.
An interest in current design as applied to the spatial environment.
A keen interest for the technical resolution of form, for the means of execution considered as creative tools for architecture. |
