| A survey is undoubtedly the starting point and basic tool of architecture and should provide metrically precise information with a minimum of interpretation.
The use of photographic equipment serves as the basis for architectural surveys. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| To learn the major means used to undertake a precise survey, using a wealth of perspectives. Dimensions, colours and textures will be studied. We will remain in the realm of what is within human perception. |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| Excellent knowledge of perspectives using three vanishing points.
Ability to use photographic equipment is a bonus. |
