| The course focuses on materials and their uses. Measuring angles and distances, the use and practical application of total stations. |

| Introduction to the technique of taking measurements of existing elements in order to retain the information necessary to establish a coherent architectural project. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
 |
| One hour refresher course on theory as well as a presentation of the instruments to be used for the practical application.
Three hours of on-site application exercises. |

| Attendance is compulsory.
No instruments will be made available to students who have not taken part in the theory section (which always takes place prior to the application exercises). |

| Practical application in groups (max. 5 students) will form part of the assessment.
A written and/or oral exam will be organised at the end of the term.
