Course contents :  
Introduction to the study of human behaviour : instinctive, learned, emotional and cognitive approaches to theory, specifying their connection with the disciplines of architecture and town-planning.
Introduction to the study of human interaction : approach to theories of communication (cultural, psychosocial and cognitive dimensions, external representations ...) specifying their connection to the disciplines of architecture and town-planning. The psychology and sociology classes aim to provide a bettter understanding of people, the complexity of collective living. The classes also aim to incite reflexive practice in such a way as to develop an architectural response which takes into account human, social and ethical challenges.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
- understanding of the subject (demonstrating knowledge by giving an individual response to a question tackled during class) -combining acquired information (combining different pieces of information to formulate a response to a new question) - the ability to use acquired information in a new context - the ability to use acquired information in an architectural design question (integrating different pieces of information in a potential project)

A detailed command of the French langage.
