Course contents :

| General information about thermal comfort. Energy balance of a building: coefficient of thermal transmission through walls, ventilation thermal losses, solar and internal gains, efficiency of the heating and domestic hot water systems. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| With an actual building as support of the exercise: calculation of the thermal transmission coefficient of the walls (U-value), of the hygienic ventilation needs, evaluation of the primary energy consuption and of the energy performance regulation criteria . |
