Course contents :

| The placement report written in M1 and the analysis of the materials collected during the placement, help students to reflect on the themes in the "Children, families, institutions" module, during the sessions. The group discussions and exchanges are based on the placement and targeted scientific texts. |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| At the end of the tutorial sessions, students will be able to:
- Take stock of the placement in a distanced, critical and introspective manner;
- Analyse the various pieces of information relating to the organisation that hosted the placement (grey literature concerning the institution, regulations, educational media, organisation charts, legal texts, instructions, plans, etc.);
- Write a report that puts into perspective the analysis of the placement using the information collected, supported by targeted scientific sources such as the classes attended within the framework of the module. |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| Students must have done the "Children, families, institutions" module in M1, in particular courses: ANTH0059-1 and HSTG0016-1. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| Readings, discussions and oral presentations.
These activities will take place during exchanges between the professor and the students and among the students. Students are expected to participate actively. |

| Readings will be given during the year according to the direction of the students' work. |

Assessment methods and criteria :
 |
| The assessment is based on the final report and an oral presentation as well as on active participation in the exchanges.
This global report must not exceed 10 pages (excluding appendixes; font size 11; line spacing 1.5) and must include a brief reminder of the terms of the placement, an analytical part (an introspective, critical and distanced look at the placement based on the targeted texts) that leads to solutions (if a problem was raised by the host organisation), and recommendations or proposals for actions. The report should end with an account of work carried out at the host organisation. |
