| The theme of the teaching will vary each year. This year the question chosen for talks and discussions is the anthropology of enchantment. |

| This course is a seminar. This year, the theme of the seminar is the Misunderstanding. Two introductory courses will set the conceptual frame and provide some bibliographical information. Then each student will prepare a talk on subject, drawing from her filedwork or not. Students should provide thorough readings of texts as well as well developped analysis of the situation they have chosen. |

| The assessment will take into account the quality of the oral presentation and the engagement into the discussions. The assessemnt criteria of the oral presentation are the following : structure, bibliography, reasoning, questionning, understanding of the readings, presentation). |
