Course contents :  
The theme of the teaching will vary each year. This year the question chosen for talks and discussions is the anthropology of enchantment.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Critical readings, discussion of different points of view, listening of other points of view, arguing and reasoning.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
This course is a seminar. This year, the theme of the seminar is the Misunderstanding. Two introductory courses will set the conceptual frame and provide some bibliographical information. Then each student will prepare a talk on subject, drawing from her filedwork or not. Students should provide thorough readings of texts as well as well developped analysis of the situation they have chosen.

The assessment will take into account the quality of the oral presentation and the engagement into the discussions. The assessemnt criteria of the oral presentation are the following : structure, bibliography, reasoning, questionning, understanding of the readings, presentation).
