Course contents :  
We shall discuss the UNESCO Convention for the Saveguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage and its implementing.
Besides a theorical thought about notions of safeguarding, protection, revitalization and transmission, we'll present practical means to manage the different ways of mediation.
We'll also approach the tourism impact assessment on ICH.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The purpose is to give the opportunity to the student for thorough command in intangible cultural heritage. We try to consider the stakes, the problems and the practices bound to the transmission of this heritage
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
One must have attended the first course, named "Patrimoines immatériels (fêtes, croyances et arts populaires)" ANTH0038-1
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Presentation of a report, according to the student's formation : written, audio, audiovisual ou museological project.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
30 hours between February and April 2015. Every Monday from 11 am to 1 pm.(to confirm)

Oral appraisal on main theorical notions and, above all, assessment on the personal report
