Understand the importance of sampling and representativity
Become familiar with ore microscopy and able to recognize most major ore minerals
Properly interpret data coming from Automated Mineralogy and Image Analysis |

| Intermediate reports to be written on laboratory results (size, image analysis, XRD, ...)
These reports will account for 25% of the total.
Oral examination referring to the theoretical courses accounts for 75%.
In order to succeed, a student must have a minimum note of 8/20 for the written report and a satisfactory final note. |
